Rooted in the Scandinavian ethos of lagom ("just the right amount"), this project reinterprets IKEA’s Trixig electric screwdriver for modern home assembly.
The primary objective was to minimize the tool's physical footprint—optimizing supply chain logistics, packaging efficiency, and transport volume without compromising torque or battery performance.
Through rigorous physical prototyping, 1:1 scale ergonomic testing, and technical CAD drafting, the final housing was sculpted to fit naturally in hand.

and a seamless two-part shell, LAGOM delivers an accessible, ultra-compact tool tailored specifically for everyday fix-ups.
